Supported🤖AI EthicsJan 2024

Ivan Zhao led Notion to adopt responsible AI practices. By default, Notion does not use workspace data to train AI models and requires all subprocessors to agree to contractual obligations prohibiting customer data training. Notion partners with ROOST (Robust Open Online Safety Tools) for open-source AI trust tooling, deploys safety controls including OpenAI's moderation endpoint, and maintains SOC 2 Type 2 and ISO certifications. AI features respect existing workspace permissions.
